01. Introduction

Stefan Velund

I am a songwriter, producer and musician with the guitar as a main instrument. My music is a mix from unadorned ballads to heavy hardrock.

I started playing trumpet when I was 10 years old but changed soon to guitar.  My interest in music grew more and more over the years. I practiced guitar and read about theory of harmonic and 1984 I bought my first multitrack recorder. A natural progression was to start mixing artists and bands of different kind at concerts and all kinds of arrangements. I also played guitar in several constellations. In 2004 I decided to start recording my first own album “Tredje berget”, based on nylon guitar. But my roots in the rock of the 70´s and 80´s took me back and resulted in my new album “Relentless”. The influences comes from my early idols KISS, Whitesnake and Mötley Crue mixed with more modern bands/artists souch as Alter Bridge and Slash.
